“Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an”
For the second year in a row, the suffering of the displaced people continues in Syria in general and in the northern countryside of Aleppo in particular. The Corona epidemic crisis has exacerbated the bad humanitarian conditions, accompanied by the high prices of basic foodstuffs and the deterioration of the global economic situation. Ramadan, the month of goodness and mercy, comes as an opportunity for good people to relieve the suffering of people and improve the conditions of generous families.
About the Project
In the blessed month of Ramadan for the year of 2020, the initiative of Iftar and the mercy tables continue, as it coordinated with local committees in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The charity, in cooperation with the local committees in the northern countryside of Aleppo, had an agreed schedule to ensure the distribution of Iftar meals for the needy families there.
Also, in light of the difficult economic conditions, the association provided financial grants to families under the name of “Al-Ashir Gifts” to bring joy and happiness to needy families before Eid Al-Fitr.
Money grants were distributed to nearly 600 needy families in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and the amount per family reached 50 US dollars. Also, a scheduled plan has been developed to distribute meals to families in coordination with the local committees in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
